Customer Review: Waste of Money
As many other reviewers stated, mat is a little bumpy, but I expected that and I'm sure eventually it'd go flat (or you could iron it), and that alone I was ok with. What I'm not ok with is the fact that even if you do put it right in the hole, it either just sits in the hole or rolls down to the return device and just sits there. After moving the return device around at different angles I eventually got it to return one out of every 4 balls, and even then it only returned it about half way to me, even on short carpet.... I will be looking for a better return putting green.
Customer Review: not too bad, but some inaccuracies in advertisement
Overall, I pretty much got what I was expecting to get which was a decent practice putting mat for a lower price than some others that are offered. This could be picky, but a few things I noticed: 1 - It advertises 8 feet, but that's if the mat would actually stay perfectly straight without any creases and if you putted from the back edge of the mat; even then the hole is placed up a couple inches from the back of the mat. Because of this, you actually get around 7 1/2 feet. Not a really big deal to me, but maybe for some. 2 - It advertises a regulation size cup. I looked up what a regulation diameter is and it is 4 1/4 inches. This cup measures just a bit short of 4 inches. I actually find that to be a convenience because it makes you be a little more accurate with your putts, but it would be nice if the manufacturer actually delivered what it said. I also noticed that if you miss your putt by just a bit thus missing the return track, the ball will stay on top of the mat defeating the purpose of returning the ball automatically. A small book underneath the back helped with that problem. Also, if you crush it there is nothing to stop the ball from going over the back edge, but if you hit it that hard you deserve the punishment of going to retrieve the ball yourself. Overall, I'm happy with it and it gets the job done.

I bought mahagny color last year and tried in several different occasions: Hiking, biking, tennis and travel. i have problem to have solid grip to secure it in position. the arc is too cuvy for my face so there is fitting issue for me. what make it worse is it's tight on the top with my forhead and sweat trapped inside the lens and becomes foggy. i have this problem in biking and tennis but it's ok in hiking. the color of the lens (dark brown) block quite a lot of sunlight and make my vision too dim before 10 and afer 4. Driving into parking arage, I have to remove it for safe visibility. I don't if the grey color lens will do better on this. Overall, I think there are far better choice with just a little more money.

I am happy with these glasses because they are dark enough and keep out direct light. If you are walking or running they don't slip or fog up when you sweat. If your eyes are light sensitive like mine, you will appreciate a pair of these. I have a medium hatsize and can see that if your wear large or bigger, these glasses probably wont fit.

I sent this to my brother-in-law for Christmas. I was not there for the opening of the present - but I heard the box looked like it contained a giant kite (ha). Looked forward to using a simple stroke keeper when I bought this. Unfortunately, within just the first three holes of using this item, it twice advanced to the next hole when I had not yet hit the button to do so. Now, I had it hanging by the clip off of one of my belt loops, and maybe that was part of the problem. Maybe if you hook it up in a stable fashion to your bag or cart, it might do the job. The price is right, so give it a shot if you think it might do the trick for you.

I'm so excited to use this product. I always forget how many strokes I have once I make it to the green. And I'm such a bad golfer, it takes many strokes to get to the green. I played with it when I received and it is very easy to use and the display shows up well. I'm very anxious to get out there and play some golf so I can use my new tool. Extremely good feel and incredible distance. In these two aspects I prefer this ball over all the Titlist balls. The only issue with Callaway Hx Hot Bite is its durability. As long as you don't abuse Callaway balls they will outlast the Titlist brand. You can abuse the ProV1 (bounce it on cartpaths/rocks) and it will still last reasonably long. However Callaway Balls are not built for this kind of endurance, they are built for no other reason than hitting off the tee and on fairways/out of rough and especially around the green. THIS IS THE BEST BALL I HAVE EVER USED AROUND AND ON THE GREEN! It also added 10 yards to my drive out the ProV1.

This ball feels good off the tee and goes very long, but it is brilliant around the greens. If you are a good chipper, it is responsive to your touch and will always be around the hole. It's hard to describe, but some cheap balls feel like rocks when you hit them, these Hot Bites feel like velvet. The Green V on them makes them unique too. Cool!

Good one for NY storms. That's the reason why I bought 2 more. Unfortunately the last one came with the black protector of the tip (the one to be used when relying the umbrella on the floor) broken in small pieces inside the box. It's a shame that quality control is declining for these key items before packaging. I am not available to return it because of my busy time (In fact, that's why I order online).

Amazon needs to clarify what they are selling here. The picture shows golf balls with Pro VI X on them. Then, the heading turns around and says Pro VI. Obviously, Amazon staff are not golfers. There is a big difference between Pro VI and Pro VI X to golfers. I am not a golfer, but my husband is, and he plays with Pro VI but not Pro VI X. I point this out to golfers because if you look carefully throughout the entire web page, you will find several references to either Pro VI or Pro VI X. I own this as well. It's very lightweight and seems well made. If it had a fancy club logo you'd pay 5 times as much. Per the prior recommendation, the sizing is a little snug. I wear an L or XL, and in this case got an XL which fits fine. I'm 6'5" and weigh 220. If you're unsure about what size to get, go up one size.

I HAVE A LARGE GOLF BAG SO IT WAS A TIGHT FIT BUT THEY TRAVELED WELL ON RECENT AIRLINE TRIP TO FLORIDA. Customer Review: Close but no cigar
I purchased two of the SKB 2SKB-4814W bags after reading on the net that they would fit all or most cart bags. My wifes cart bag fits nicely in the case if you take items out of the side pockets ( larger side pockets on her bag ). My cart bag is a Ping Pioneer bag and we have to take everything out of the side and back pockets and its takes two of us to put enough pressure on the top to get the case closed. They are very well made cases and I am pleased with them except for the misleading information I read were they said they were made for cart bags. I expected the companies who advertise these bags would have checked with the most popular and well known bag manufactures before making this claim.

I spent the entire summer playing with 1 tee!! I bought a package of these because with my BIG driver I broke every tee I used. I play 3 days/week and it got to be a joke with my foursome when they'd ask each round if I was still using the same tee! It got a little beat up but it still works and I still have the same tee. I bought the orange because the only thing that could go wrong would be if I lost it.... my buddies did have to help me look a couple of times and I gave them each one for their own. Got my new iGolf NEO on Friday and had it on the golf course on Sunday morning. Easy instructions for setting it up and for downloading course information. Once on the course, I compared yardage markers on the course to the distances the Neo was giving me. The Neo was very accurate. Of course, I have only used it once, but by all accounts, this appears to be a great product. Granted, it does not give you a "layout" of each hole or a color screen, but it does provide on course distance to the green, pin, etc as well as distances to fairway bunkers, green side bunkers, edge of fairway, etc. If you are a weekend golfer who plays a different course every now and then, this will do the trick. I am very happy that I did not waste $300-$400 on a skycaddie.

This GPS is just what I needed. Hard to believe but sometimes I find myself with no distance marker available ( they are in the fairway) this product gives you all the info you need and is easy to set up and use. It has all the golf courses I use and the Exec 9 I play I was able to map as I played it and had the info available and accurate the next time I played. I say accurate because the guy I was playing with had a 600 dollar Nikon viewfinder that shot the flag and I had mapped the spots front middle back where they usually place the flag and I was within a yard or two of every pin placement - which works for me. Exl $$ Good size easy to read and work. Only holds 10 courses but easy to add and delete courses as needed from handheld and if you are like me 10 course works most of the time. Battery life has not been a problem and recharge is no big deal. I would recommend to anyone who can read and is not afraid to play with a electronic device. If you have questions GOOD luck when I first got the unit I had a question about adding a course and wrote an email in Dec - still waiting for reply. But just keep playing with device and figured it out - like any other electronic device you just have go from a-b-c, it's a device and will not go like you from a-c on its own.

I've been playing over 25 years, usually trying to break 90 with my top-flites. Since I bought these balls I've shot under 80 three times!!! Seriously, the distance is amazing. I've played these for one year now (18 Index), and I'm happy with theit performance. They are Pro V1's, but they're long and straight off the tee and they putt true. My only complaints are that their cover is softish (scuffing pretty easily) but they don't play soft around the green. You'll hold the green on a par 3, but don't expect the ball to back up, ESPECIALLY in desert locations.

I got to set of clubs for me and my girlfriend and I havent had any problems with them. I read other reviews about the clubs breaking and cracking but I havent experienced this. I have been to the driving range over one dozen times and have played 36 holes and have had no problems with the sets. The bags are really nice too. If I had to do it over I would still buy A set for my girlfriend but I would spend a bit more money on myself.

I purchased the prosimmon icon club set Oct.07 and although cosmetically they look fine and the grips and balance feel fine also, I am concerned about the durability of the set. The 5 iron shaft snapped off about 6 weeks ago, the driver head split at the top of the face, both have been replaced by prosimmon expediantly. Subsequently, the shaft on my 8 iron snapped off just last week like the 5 iron did, and am presently waiting for a response. I am concerned what will happen once my 1 year warranty expires.

Customer Review: Perfect Starter Set

For 150 bucks you really can't go wrong. It gives you all the basics and then some for what you need to start playing golf. The only thing missing is a sand wedge. The only thing I didn't like was that they were all graphite shafts rather then steel. I prefer steel, but that's a personal preference.

Customer Review: Great, until the driver snapped on the 2nd hole.

I thought the clubs and bag were a great starter set, an almost perfect starter set, as I practiced and then went out for a round of golf.
On the second hole as I hit with the driver, the ball went left, the club head went right, and the tee didn't move. Luckily, the company was very prompt in replacing the club, mailing both a new driver and cover within a few days.
Hopefully, the next driver and all of the rest of the clubs can withstand the next drive or hit. BTW, the irons look great and look like they could withstand some pretty good abuse.

These clubs are perfect for my 12 year old. He's used them a few times and him game has improved just by using the right size clubs. My little girl is a tall 5 and she is just able to use the 9 iron. The driver is way to big for her as well as the 7 iron and 5 iron. She will grow into them though so I guess it will pay off in the long run. Great bad and great quality.

Nice beginner set
We bought the older version of this set for our 8 year old who is just getting into golf. We've only had the clubs for a week, but he's played with them and they appear to be a very nice beginner set. We were also surprised that the bag is a nice quality one that looks like it will hold up and the set comes with covers for the drivers. The only minor complaint is that the clubs are a bit heavy but they're right for the price.

I love this ball!
I love It! The Callaway Hot is very long off the tee and looks cool too with the red V on it. I'm in my 60's, and don't have a vicious swing, but I've picked up a few yards compared with other balls that are just a little cheaper. It may not offer the bite on the green that the Hot Bite offers which are $5 a box more, but it is great if you like to pitch and roll it. But if you like to swing easy, and get more distance, this is one of the best!

I found these balls at wal-mart for $24 out the door. As for the ball..Very Very good off the tee but not as good when chipping on to the green. It goes to far no mater how slow I swing...so I guess I just need to make it to the green on the 2nd shot....

Good for the price
Bag is a good value for the price. Only issue so far is one zipper needed work as it wasn't zipping closed either way you pulled. Another draw back for some is the exterior clip and cup for the putter.

This bag is a great bag considering the price that it goes for. The durability might not be quite as high as bags for 2 to 3 times the price ... but c'mon! Dividers are great lots of storage. The only real problem I could see developing is that the zippers on the large pockets seem to be lower quality. Other than that , great bag.

How do they do it for the price?
I really can't imagine how they make this product for the price. It really is good value. I bought one to give to my son for his 6th birthday. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure if he will swing naturally right-handed or left-handed...he seems to be comfortable pretending to swing both ways; I'm left-handed but swing right-handed. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and so this was the perfect option as it's such a low investment to find out if he likes golf, not to mention if I got the swing right.

I looked around at the other, much more expensive sets and frankly unless you have a budding Tiger Woods on your hands, and you already know it for sure, I'd recommend going for something like this set. Really, really good value.

How can you beat the price?
I've never really be able to tell the difference between golf balls, its probably because I'm not good enough yet. But for the price these ones are great, and I don't mind if I lose one or two . . . or three . . . or four . . . you get the point.

When bogey golf is good...then these are great golf balls!
I bought these golf balls on a whim, knowing that if anything, they could be lost and I wouldn't feel too bad losing them. This part is still true.
However, I must admit, I actually like the feel of these golf balls. They are certainly softer than many others I have hit, but they seem to respond very well off the tee. In fact, I can hit these further and more straight than many more popular brands.
The closest match to a name brand ball would probably be the Nike Ignite, which I also find outstanding.
I lose balls all the time...tall rough, water, water, more water and the desert. So if I lose 3 balls playing 18 holes, than I'm down what, $2? Big deal.
I'll buy them again when I lose them all.

Big balls, Small price...
Hi. i am an amateur golfer with a 18 handicap. i have been using these BetaTi balls because I cannot worry about wasting $1.00 Plus golf balls. To my surprise, the more I play with them, the more I get used to the way they react to my way of playing. I have hit these babies 300 plus yards. I hit a green in one on a 350 par four in Costa Caribe Golf in Ponce, PR. It doesnt happen often, but these babies fly and feel soft off the tee. I tried the famous titleist pro V1 and have not hit them that far. Try them, since they are so economical, you will hit the ball with more confidence without the worry of losing a couple of them in the bushes.

A Good Friend on the Links
I recently puchased the Bushnell Pinseeker 1500 to replace my Leica Rangefinder. This is my third rangefinder and definitely the best one. It is so much easier to lock onto the flag with this upgraded rangefinder. The pinseeker locks in quickly and accurately. I used to take 3 readings to be sure I had the flag and not the background, but that's no longer necessary. The slope calculator is great too. I am a roaming golfer who rarely plays the same course twice in a season. This tool really helps me select the right club when I play from differing elevations.

This is a great supplement to my Skycaddie SG5 GPS. The GPS is fast and works great when I can't see the green, but the laser is still more accurate and lets you pick out the range to various targets like traps, lakes and woods which helps me keep from hitting into danger on courses I don't know well. I'm glad I've got it on my bag.

My husband has the Bag Boy push speed cart and we compared my new Sun Mountain speed cart to his. There were pluses and minuses with both. First of all, my new Sun Mountain cart has a tighter, more reliable brake. Also, I have been told by others who own a Sun Mountain cart that this company will back up their product. For example, should you get a flat tire, you can send it to them for a free replacement for up to a year (not sure if it's good for longer). Moreover, if you buy their Sun Mountain cart bags, they supposedly fit perfect onto their push cart. I would have to agree only slightly with this opinion. It's an okay fit; the bags do not meld perfectly into the clips that hold the bag in place (which I had expected from all the opinions about Sun Mt.). The older models of this cart are underwhelming. They had designed those carts with bungee cords to hold your bag in place. However, the brackets on my 2008 cart were ridiculously designed because you have to dial these teeny-tiny knobs to tighten down the brackets (Heaven help men with their big thumbs). In this respect, my husband's push cart is better because it includes a wide velcro strap to hold your bag in the cart. Another option for golfers is the push cart by ClicGear, but I discovered it was too difficult to fold up. I can hit fairways with this. I can also work the ball left or right. I liked the square head concept so much, I splurged on the Callaway square headed driver. The only difference I noticed is the Callaway Ft-i is lighter shaft and head, so it is easier to swing, but the price is no comparison. I get about the same distance with both.
